Joshua Saltzman became an associate at Kaplan Fox in May 2015.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Saltzman was an associate at another New York law firm, where he litigated securities, merger, derivative and ERISA cases. Mr. Saltzman was a member of the litigation team that recently obtained a $40 million settlement for the class in In re American International Group, Inc. ERISA Litigation II, and he also helped to litigate several merger cases that resulted in substantial monetary settlements.
Mr. Saltzman is a graduate of Rutgers University (B.A., English, 2002) and Brooklyn Law School (J.D., magna cum laude, 2011). During law school he served as an Articles Editor of the Brooklyn Law Review and interned for Judge Victor Marrero of the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York. The Brooklyn Law Review published Mr. Saltzman’s note, “Smack Apparel, College Color Schemes, and the Muddying of Trademark Law,” 76 Brook. L. Rev. 1635, in Summer, 2011.
